As Chinese investors regularly troop into Nigeria to do business, they are always on the look out for locals to converse with in their mother tongue, Mandarin.

Unfortunately, not a lot of Chinese speaking Nigerians can be found in Abuja. But we have found these top language centres that offer Chinese language to both adults and children.

This institute is located in Zone 5, Wuse Abuja and is run by Ma Laoshi and her husband. They are both Chinese.

This institute runs a bunch of foreign language programs including Chinese language.
They run an intensive language syllable.
They use space in Model Primary school, Maitama off IBB.

3. Aunty Aita's Language Workshop for Kids:


Is a workshop for children to learn French and Chinese language.
It is for kids ages 5 to 10 years.
Their syllabus includes learning how to

  • sing Chinese and French songs
  • Learn Calligraphy
  • watch kiddie Chinese cartoons
  • Arts & Crafts and many more productive means of teaching languages to kids
